Terms of Service
Last updated: June 10, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you ("you", "Customer") and Redbeard Innovation Kft., a company registered at Vöröskereszt utca 14. 1. emelet 5, 1033 Budapest, Hungary ("we", "us", "llmail"), operator of the service available at llmail.dev (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
llmail is an email-to-REST gateway. The Service connects to mailboxes you nominate over IMAP and SMTP, ingests inbound mail, transforms it into structured JSON, and delivers that JSON to webhook URLs you configure or exposes it via a polling REST API. Outbound mail submitted to the Service is relayed through the SMTP server you nominate. We do not run language models or other AI inference over the content of your mail.
3. Accounts
You must provide a valid email address and a password to sign up. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials, API keys, webhook signing secrets, and mailbox credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at legal@llmail.dev if you suspect unauthorised use.
4. Your mailboxes and content
You may only connect mailboxes that you own or have explicit authorisation to access and process. You remain responsible for the content of all email (inbound and outbound) handled through your account, including ensuring that you have any consents required from the people who correspond with those mailboxes.
As between you and us, you retain all rights in the mail and other content you process through the Service. You grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, transform, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service for you.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- send unsolicited bulk email, spam, phishing, or malware;
- infringe intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of others;
- access mailboxes you are not authorised to access;
- violate applicable law or sanctions;
- circumvent rate limits, tier limits, authentication, or billing controls; or
- interfere with or probe the Service's infrastructure, other than through publicly documented endpoints.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are breaching this section.
6. Plans and limits
The Service is offered on Free, Basic, and Pro plans. Per-plan limits on connected inboxes, attachment download size, outbound attachments, and per-endpoint API rate limits are listed on the Pricing page and enforced by the Service. We may add or adjust plan tiers and limits from time to time; changes that materially reduce the value of a paid plan during a paid period will not take effect for that customer until the next renewal.
7. Fees, billing, and taxes
Paid plans are billed in advance through Stripe, on a monthly or yearly cycle that you choose at checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each cycle until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and your plan reverts to Free for any subsequent period. Prices are exclusive of taxes unless stated otherwise; you are responsible for any applicable VAT or sales tax based on the billing details you provide. Payment-method data is handled by Stripe; we do not store card numbers.
If a payment fails, we may downgrade your account to the Free plan after a reasonable retry period, which will reduce the limits available to you.
8. Availability and support
We aim to keep the Service available on a best-effort basis. We do not offer a contractual uptime SLA in this version of the Terms. We may take the Service offline for planned maintenance or to respond to incidents. Support is provided over email at legal@llmail.dev.
9. Third-party services and customer endpoints
The Service depends on third-party services (including your mailbox providers, your SMTP relay, Stripe for billing, and our hosting and monitoring providers). The Service also delivers payloads to webhook URLs that you choose. We are not responsible for the availability, security, or content handling of any third-party service or customer endpoint you configure.
10. Intellectual property
We retain all rights in the Service software, documentation, brand, and infrastructure. Nothing in these Terms transfers any such rights to you, except for the limited right to use the Service while these Terms are in force.
11. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any specific message will be ingested, transformed, or delivered.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither party will be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or data, arising out of or in connection with these Terms. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to these Terms will not exceed the fees you paid us for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
13. Indemnity
You will defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from any third-party claim arising out of your content, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms, or your breach of applicable law.
14. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and cancel any paid subscription from the Billing page. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; data retention and deletion are described in the Privacy Policy.
15. Changes to the Service or the Terms
We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. We will update the "last updated" date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will give reasonable advance notice through the dashboard or by email to the address on your account. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
16. Data protection
Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy. Where you act as a controller and we process personal data on your behalf, our Data Processing Addendum applies and forms part of these Terms.
17. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of Budapest, Hungary have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that apply to you.
18. Miscellaneous
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. These Terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
